Activity programme for international students
Posted on 17 November 2009 by Grow Wellington
With the end of the school year only weeks away thousands of students - both domestic and international - are studying hard for their final NCEA exams.

For those international students that are not sitting exams the end of formal classes means an opportunity to do something that is less about academic learning and more about having fun.

Secondary schools from across the region have joined forces to create a week long end of year activity programme for senior international students who are not sitting exams.

The action packed week includes sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, high ropes, barbeques and farm visits and a trip to Kapiti Island bird sanctuary.

It is anticipated that the activity week will become an annual event.
