Prior to its scheduled website upgrade, Victoria International has won a bronze award acknowledging its quality and accessibility.
Victoria International received the award at the QS Asia Pacific Professional Leaders in Education (QS-APPLE) conference in Kuala Lumpur at the end of November.
Pro Vice-Chancellor International Professor Rob Rabel, and who attended the conference as a presenter, was delighted with the award.
"To gain recognition up against strong international competition is a real credit to the Victoria International team – we were up against the likes of New York University's Tisch School of Arts for this award.
"A colleague from Leipzig told me at the conference that he was so impressed with some of the information we have up on the site that he had copied it for use on his own web pages."
The website is to be upgraded by the end of this year, to provide even better access and features for potential international students and partners.
Prof Rabel gave a presentation at the QS-APPLE conference about the new and innovative Victoria International Leadership Programme (VILP) which has been running since mid 2008 and now has around 750 students taking part.
